BlackBox BDM-Technology/Semiconductor in DALLAS, Texas

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients / partners in both the construction and semiconductor sectors. Analyze competitors and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Strategic Account Penetration: Penetrate named accounts by working in partnership with General Contractors in order to expand Black Box’s footprint within the semiconductor sector.

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with GCs and prospective clients. Understand their needs, challenges, and objectives to tailor solutions that address their specific requirements. Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant throughout the sales process.

  • Solution Selling: Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and solution engineers, to develop comprehensive solutions that meet client needs. Present these solutions to clients in a compelling and persuasive manner.

  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with clients to finalize contracts and agreements. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes. Close sales and achieve revenue targets.

  • Account Management: Manage ongoing client relationships post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Provide exceptional customer service and support to foster long-term partnerships.

  • Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including lead generation, meetings, and opportunities. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or related work experience

  • 10+ years proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably in the technology industry with 2+ years partnering with general contractors in the pre-construction phase and beyond.

  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and connectivity technologies, including networking, cloud computing, and data center solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of an organization.

  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to exceed sales targets and achieve business objectives.
