Description

We are in search of a proficient Attorney/Lawyer to join our team operating within the legal industry, based in Dallas, Texas. As an Attorney/Lawyer, you will be supporting discovery for a busy law firm. This role provides an opportunity to manage a part of our case load, conduct research, and write briefs. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portion of our case load to ensure efficient legal proceedings

• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support cases

• Write and edit legal briefs to present clear and concise arguments

• Utilize Case Management Software to monitor and update case progress

• Handle complaints using a detail oriented and solution-oriented approach

• Trial preparation

Requirements

• Possession of a valid license to practice law

• Excellent briefing and complaint handling skills

• Proven experience in civil litigation and claim administration

• Strong discovery, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to work independently and in a team

• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
