Athletic Trainer

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Athletic Trainer

Work location: 902 Randol Mill Road - Suite 250 Arlington, TX 76012

Work environment: Ortho Sports Specialists Sideline

Work hours: Full-Time; Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Here’s What You Need:

· High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

· Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or related field (REQUIRED)

· Six months of experience as an Athletic Trainer (PREFERRED)

· LAT – Licensed Athletic Trainer certification upon hire (REQUIRED)

· NATA and BOC upon hire (PREFERRED)

  • Six Months of experience in a Clinical Setting (STRONGLY PREFERRED)

What You Will Do:

· Prevent and treat injuries using appropriate medical protocols; assist in developing and monitoring rehabilitation and conditioning programs, using physical therapy modalities.

· Prevent and treat injuries using appropriate medical protocols; assist in developing and monitoring rehabilitation and conditioning programs, using physical therapy modalities.

· Establish preliminary care plan; complete injury evaluation for referral to appropriate health care provider

· Assists department with program development, training new hires, timely monthly reports; coordination of MD/NP for onsite lectures/visits
