Job Title: A&P Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled A&P Mechanic with experience in general aircraft and piston engines. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a lead role and ideally possess an Inspection Authorization (IA) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and maintenance on general aircraft, including Cirrus, Cessna, Columbia/Corvalis, and Lancair models.

  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on piston engine aircraft.

  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems and components.

  • Document all maintenance actions accurately and thoroughly.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and safety standards.

Essential Skills

  • A&P license

  • Experience with general aircraft and piston engines

  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance practices and procedures

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to perform inspections and preventive maintenance

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Columbia 400 aircraft is preferred

  • Possession of an Inspection Authorization (IA) is highly desirable

Work Environment

You will be working in a non-climate controlled hangar environment. The facility is equipped to handle a range of general aircraft and piston engines, providing you with diverse and engaging work experiences.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00
