Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Dallas site is looking for a new Customer Care Specialist to join our Air Logistics team.

Your Role

As the Dallas Aerospace and Engine Logistics Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the transportation, handling and storage of specialized and general aircraft parts (Engines/auxiliary power units/Tooling). They should be a subject matter expert in these products, as well as the logistical requirements for handling them. The role will help support Dallas Air Logistics Team.

Your Responsibilities

  • As part of a team of 5, support 2 customer care specialists and 2 supervisors along with a manager

  • Act as a representative of the Aerospace team and Engine Desk to customers, both internal and external

  • Coordination of all aspects of pick-up and delivery (including, but not limited to initiation, rate quotation, status updates, approval of vendor invoices, etc.)

  • Review client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and introduce them to responsible specialists.

  • Work with account managers to ensure all Engine material contained within SOPs meet Kuehne+Nagel internal and QSHE guidelines

  • Mandatory daily correspondence with overseas offices

  • Act as the first level of escalation to address any issues arising.

  • Reports to Customer Care Manager

  • This is a 24/7/365 Facility, flexibility to work non-traditional hours, weekends and holidays is required

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of Air logistics experience, export preferred
