Job Description:

Focuses specifically on all HR responsibilities for the University Housing Department, including processing all full-time, part-time, and hourly student employees. Initiates employee payroll requests, administers time collection and reporting, prepares and submits new hire paperwork, and coordinates onboarding of new full-time and part-time employees.

Sets up and tracks purchase orders, arranges invoice payments, and performs month-end account reconciliations as assigned. Reconciles operating accounts as assigned, fund balance and other finance or human resources related reports requested. Gathers and analyzes customer feedback for services provided, provides ideas to reduce costs and improve operations, manages small projects, assists the University Housing unit with administrative functions, prepares management reports requested, interfaces with departmental customers routinely and assists with the development, streamline and delivery of business processes. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and nine years of office administration or project management experience including two years at the Administrative Services Officer I level and two years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
