Description

Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a growing company in North Dallas to identify a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Clerk. The Part-Time Accounts Receivable Clerk must have 2 + years’ experience in accounts receivable. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming payments and maintaining records of accounts receivable transactions. You will work closely with other members of the finance team to support the overall financial operations of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming payments in a timely and accurate manner

• Reconcile payments received with invoices and update records accordingly

• Generate and distribute invoices to customers

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts

• Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies

• Assist with month-end closing processes as needed

• Prepare reports on accounts receivable status as requested by management

• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

  Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus

• Must be able to work -25-30 hours per week
