JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Wilkes-Barre is now accepting applications for part-time instructors to teach lectures and associated labs in Surveying Engineering beginning in Spring 2024. Courses may include Surveying Measurements Analysis, Geodesy, GIS, and Photogrammetry.

Qualifications

A master's degree, or equivalent education and experience, in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required

Experience teaching at the college-level is preferred

The successful candidate will be committed to active and collaborative learning and the instructional use of technology in a student-centered environment

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
