Job Summary

Provides automated feature and validation testing across multiple domains for NAVSEA Warfare Center Dahlgren.

Telework is not supported. Travel is not required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Develops automated test scripts to assess functionality within the system User Interface (UI). Writes and executes thorough test cases and procedures. Contributes to work item development with emphasis on testing criteria. Performs troubleshooting failed automated test. Supports feature and validation testing across multiple domains. Learns and utilizes project technologies for in-depth error root cause analysis (e.g. RMQ).

Qualifications and Skills

Required knowledge and years of experience

Must have have at least ten (10) years of experience with automated UI test tools (e.g. TestCafé Studio, Selenium, Cucumber, etc.). Must have experience with Infrastructure testing, Gitlab, and production administration. Must have significant experience with application monitoring tools. Must have experience with Jira or similar work management and software development tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitLab, Confluence, etc.) Must have experience with Logstash and Elasticsearch and have knowledge of C#, Ruby, and SQL languages. Must be proficient with Kubernetes and Argo. Candidate must have the ability to understand JavaScript.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Certifications

Security+ or commitment to obtain Security+ within 6 months of hire.
