VectorCSP Program Manager in Dahlgren, Virginia

Overview:

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) provides comprehensive and dedicated support to the Navy of research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems and fleet support. Additional support for professional and operational support services is required as NSWCDD continues to provide the military with testing and certification by utilizing its Potomac River Test Range in Dahlgren, VA and provides fleet support at NSWCDD Dam Neck which is located in Virginia Beach, VA.

Job Summary:

Deliver project management support throughout program life cycle, from concept development and formulation through initial system design, development, and deployment in support of day-to-day operations at NSWCDD .

Education and Experience:

  • Ten (10) years of management experience, with at least five (5) years involving Federal Government programs.

    Essential Duties:

  • Deliver project management support throughout program life cycle, from concept development and formulation through initial system design, development, and deployment.

  • Provide technical assistance and procurement assistance ; review and analyze procurement requirements for internal and external customers in major Programs across NSWCDD

  • D etermine the appropriate and compliant procurement vehicle which conforms to FAR requirements and assist customers with completing the necessary procurement documentation to ensure FIAR audit readiness

  • Oversee the life-cycle procurement process to include material screening, ITPR Coordination, PR creation and buying actions, discrepancy reporting, and DRMO requisitioning

  • Support action item and milestone planning, project tracking, and status tracking

  • Participate in p lanning meetin gs

    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to lead and direct challenging projects and execute a ssignments independently within the scope of the contract

  • D emonstrated experience providing administrative oversight, corporate management, and ability to provide overall technical, schedule, and cost direction.
