We are seeking experienced Software Engineer within the Department of Defense. Individuals will be supporting the development, documentation, design, development, testing and fielding of next generation Directed Energy High Power Microwave Systems.

Required Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related Field from an accredited university

  • Strong coding experience in Java, C, or C++ languages and implementing change to existing code base

  • Experience in the development of test plans, procedures, and schedules, conducting tests, and generating reports detailing laboratory and field tests/demonstrations

  • U.S. citizens ONLY due to government or federal requirement.

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired Qualifications Include:

  • MS in Computer Science or related Field

  • Experience with Software Configuration Management, and Review Boards related to Software Safety Reviews, Weapon Systems Explosives Safety Review Board (WSERB), Software Systems Safety Review Panel (SSTRP), Fuze and Initiation System Technical Review Panel (FISTRP)

  • Familiarity with Department of Defense Software Development Life Cycle process and documentation to include but not limited to the creation and review of documents such as Software Development Plan, System Design Documents, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, etc.

  • Familiarity with Agile software development framework and tooling

  • Experience with systems analysis, technical documentation, maintenance, repair, operation, and support.

  • Current Secret Clearance

Salary Range:

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
