Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Cypress, California. In this role, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of tasks related to customer payments, account reconciliation, and financial reporting. This position is within the industry and offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Record customer payments including checks, ACH, wires, and credit card transactions.

• Reconcile payments and apply proper accounting codes to deductions.

• Handle refunds and issue credits for returns.

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

• Reconcile and process monthly bank statements.

• Manage collections of overdue invoices.

• Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

• Calculate, reconcile, and adjust sales tax collections.

• Process and record related inventory transactions.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Provide backup support for sales order processing when needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Billing procedures

• Familiarity with Cash Applications

• Experience in Cash Collections

• Understanding of Commercial Collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle software

• Knowledge of QuickBooks software

• Familiarity with SAP software
