The RDM team create and care for Apple Stores that look, feel, and function as beautifully as our products. We do this by obsessing over the employee and customer experience, and driving a global strategy that sets the bar. In this role you will be concepting, designing, and developing Visual Merchandising elements, tools, and displays for customer-centric, fast paced retail environments at scale. You will be a part of a specialized team focused on bringing innovation and evolving the customer & product experiences in retail stores worldwide. Your work will be primarily focused on physical deliverables that support VM projects that span between physical and digital in-store experiences based around Apple’s products, services, and spaces.

Description

This position requires the ability to conceive and develop new product presentations, product display elements, and retail VM tools, with a customer-centric, inclusive design approach, tailored to meet objectives for Apple products and Retail experiences. - Evolve retail experiences, tools, and physical environments based on Apple’s roadmap for products, services, and technologies. - Create and establish retail visual language and build a library of visualizations. - Brainstorms with VM team to ideate and ensure designs align with overall VM strategies. - Act as the VM design conduit partnering closely with the broader VM team and across apple. - Produce design development and/or intent packages for production and fabrication. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking innovative ways to enhance the customer experience. - Develop presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts to all levels of leadership and partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of design experience

• Proficiency with 3D modeling or visualization software

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

• Portfolio of work

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Visual Merchandising principles, space planning as it relates to product presentation, and display techniques and fixturing.

• Background in Retail Design / Visual Merchandising a plus.

• Adept at time management and organization and able to work within tight timeframes.

• Understanding of creative iterative process.

• Bachelors degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
