Apple Accessories Hardware Engineering team is seeking a driven and hardworking Electrical engineer for electrical system design validation. As a successful Engineer, you will provide validation processes and strategies through various stage of design and development from silicon and systems architecture to prototyping and manufacturing. Description

You will become part of a hands-on development team that nurtures engineering excellence and creativity. On the team you will engage with an exciting variety of responsibilities that include; Leading the accessories EE hardware validation and verification strategy including providing technical leadership when required. Developing vital processes to ensure end to end validation of the product and its functionality for various use cases and environmental conditions Owning the development of test fixture within the team or through contract manufacturer Analyzing and tracking test results and work on trade-offs to resolve design conflicts

Minimum Qualifications

  • •Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field plus minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience

  • •Strong EE fundamentals.

  • •Strong communication skills and ability to work well multi-functionally.

  • •Experience in functional testing and validation of electrical systems as well as hardware /software integration and fault tree analysis.

  • •Experience with test automation tools and programming language such as Python, Tableau, JMP.

  • •Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or PhD degree

  • •Experience in EE schematics and hardware design

  • •Hands-on experience in prototype bringup and debugging

  • •Experience with various data protocols: USB, UART, I2C, SPI, JTAG, SWD is a plus!

  • •Experience in DC/DC power design, microcontrollers, USB-PD, wireless charging, sensing technologies

  • •Experience with custom Silicon development

  • •Experience in modeling and simulation of electrical systems

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
