We are seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support the Vice President of Product Design in the Hardware Engineering organization. This position requires a tenacious self-starter who can anticipate needs & take initiative to solve problems independently. This role is to provide excellent, comprehensive administrative and operational support to VP and staff.

Description

This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of integrity and professionalism. -Executive Support including complex calendar management, scheduling travel, processing expense reports, budget management and event coordination. -Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills and strong sense of professionalism. -Demonstrates an ability to anticipate needs and changes, then react with the best interest of the business in mind. -Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity, discretion and upmost secrecy. -Extraordinary work ethic while balancing the needs of the team and business. -Ability to influence others; handle conflict appropriately, know when to delegate issues upward and when to apply common sense. -Calm under pressure, sense of humor and good with people. -Planning, managing, and executing events. -Handling technical programs and multiple complex projects, and ability to own new technology areas. -On-boarding new employees and training new team members. -Building partnerships with Business Operations to create, implement, and maintain strategies that help support the engineering teams. -Managing space planning and working cross functionally with other Admin leaders, Business Operations and Strategic Planning. -Indirectly managing a team of Admins across multiple offices, ensuring the team is meeting organizational needs and employees are supported in their growth & development. -Driving adoption and measuring the impact of standard Admin process across the organization. -Building partnerships with other Admin leaders, to develop consistent standards and best practices for the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years administrative experience.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment while maintaining composure under pressure.

  • Ability to display a high level of integrity and professionalism in dealing with people at all levels is imperative.

  • Ability to utilize tact, diplomacy, discretion and good judgement at all times, but especially when exposed to sensitive or confidential material.

  • Well organized, detail oriented and have strong time-management skills.

  • Enjoys challenging calendar management tasks while prioritizing many competing requests with minimal guidance.

  • Accustomed to problem-solving issues in a timely manner and proactively communicating decisions to appropriate individuals.

  • Interest and creativity in building team culture and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Interest in learning and growing with the team and ability to proactively look for ways to help the team to function more smoothly.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years supporting Director-level or higher

  • Proficiency with Apple Calendar, Apple Mail, Apple Keynote, Quip, Slack, and other office systems and tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $47.75 and $71.65/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
