You will become an integral part of a team that champions engineering excellence, creativity and innovation. In this highly collaborative role, you will lead project management efforts between a variety of Apple teams to build innovative accessories that support Apple strategic initiatives. Our team is seeking a project manager to help drive collaborative discussion between engineering, design, business and operations teams in support of several new product areas.

Description

In this dynamic position, you will coordinate and drive early engagements on product architecture, feature definition and program execution. We are looking for someone who is flexible and can respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically to dynamic project needs. The EPM will interact with all engineering, design and development support disciplines to create exceptional products. Establish strategic relationships and represent the project and organization with cross-functional partners Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Legal, Security, Marketing, Business Operations and other organizations Establish working cross-functional program plan. Identify and handle program cross-functional dependencies between teams Communicate development and feasibility needs, establishing milestones for checkpoints and status updates and drive alignment across the organization and between teams Coordinate with teams to identify issues, prioritize tasks and track risks Provide regular program status updates and communicate critical issues as needed to executive team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5 years of project management experience

  • Exceptional ability to build relationships, build cross-functional teams and exert effective influence in a matrix organization.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of managing cross-functional teams in a matrix organization

  • 5 years of product development experience

  • History of managing go to market activities

  • Ability to think strategically, while driving tactical details

  • Experience working with teams of diverse technical backgrounds and quickly learning from them

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $122,300 and $227,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
