Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for a Commercial Program Manager to help us do extraordinary things. As part of the Retail Commercial Programs team, the AMR Commercial Program Manager will play a leading role in defining and evolving the strategic vision across our Affordability Programs. The Retail Commercial Programs team designs and delivers market leading affordability programs that exceed customers’ expectations, drive ongoing customer purchases, and accelerate Retail’s growth. The ideal candidate is customer-centric and able to set a clear business strategy. They are adept at simplifying the complex, collaborating across a highly matrixed organization, and are highly strategic in their thinking. They will possess strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, form hypotheses, and synthesize into recommendations. They are great storytellers, comfortable addressing senior executives, and can also influence while collaborating with key partners and cross functional teams. Description

In this role you will… - Develop business strategies to support affordability programs and offers with Wireless Carrier and Bank/Fintech partners across key markets in the Americas (AMR) region - Manage key external partner relationships, developing mutually successful go to market plans and execution - Use customer insights to identify short term and long term commercial opportunities and program improvements - Cultivate strategic business priorities, size opportunities, and develop multiyear plan to drive growth and revenue targets; create compelling proposals to influence Apple Leadership - Direct cross-functional teams across Stores and Online to prioritize, deliver, and implement business initiatives to hard deadlines - Drive program performance through analysis and partnership with Apple Store Online and Apple Retail Stores business teams - Provide substantial and significant contributions to Apple Retail - Facilitate a respectful environment that incorporates Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities, respects each other’s differences, and promotes a curiosity to learn

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience and expert knowledge of the Retail industry, Commerce, Wireless Carriers, and/or Financial Services.

  • BA or equivalent industry experience

  • 10+ years of experience and expert knowledge of the Retail industry, Commerce, Wireless Carriers, and/or Financial Services.

  • Leader who has the ability to use their own judgement and strives to gain consensus in solutions, with excellent communications skills across all levels of the company.

  • Solid ability to positively influence people across all functional areas of an organization. Builds bridges and cultivate relationships; comfortable being a key point of contact and subject matter authority.

  • Validated ability to prioritize, plan, and implement strategies, programs and projects successfully.

  • Capability to craft compelling, insightful presentations with great storytelling to effectively influence Leadership.

  • Proven track record in strategy or customer experience function, developing and leading their business through impactful plans that address clear long-term objectives.

  • Self-starter with proven analytical skills and data-driven decision making.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment operating at both strategic and tactical levels.

  • MBA preferred

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
