Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in industrial maintenance ideally with a history in the textiles industry

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment

• Fabricate parts as needed including basic welding

• Trouble shoot basic electrical and mechanical systems

• Work closely with our Master Mechanic to learn and support the job functions listed below:

• Configure weaving looms and related yarn handling equipment for start-up; hand off to weaving loom operators for production

• Experience in industrial maintenance and machinery repair

• Ability to fabricate parts using basic shop tools

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
