The Senior Brand Marketing Manager oversees and guides 360 brand marketing initiatives and campaigns goaled against developing and deepening engagement with Prime Video customers. They are customer-obsessed and have a passion for bringing marketing campaigns to life across all internal and consumer touchpoints. They are accountable for delivering on specific projects and driving quality assurance from marketing briefing to go-to-market planning of 360 campaigns. They possess a bar-raising strategic lens for brand marketing, strong organization and creative direction skills, and experience earning and maintaining trust with key cross-functional partners such as research, media agencies, creative partners, and internal cross-lines of business teams.

The successful Senior Brand Marketing Manager is a blended balance of strategist, brand builder, creative instinct / acumen, project manager, and analyst. They have the ability to rally cross-functional partners - leading with high emotional intelligence, with an ability to empathize with others and earn trust quickly, overcome challenges, and strategically troubleshoot. They are a thought-leader with a proven track record of driving results, working autonomously to identify and resolve gaps to the goal, adept at parsing testing data and research insights to identify what elements should be incorporated into the campaign to ensure optimal results.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop go-to-market (GTM) strategy and guide 360-degree marketing plans for Prime Video brand initiatives, including creation of marketing briefs, approach and final GTM recaps.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure overall campaign success by driving a centralized perspective and adherence to brief.

  • Act as an idea-generating machine, bringing creative concepts to life across a full-range of media types.

  • Dive deep into marketing performance and audience insights to uncover durable insights that improve performance over time.

  • Present GTM plan to leadership.

  • Partner with different Amazon creative marketing teams (e.g. Sports, Prime, Originals) to develop complementary creative campaigns and jointly inspire customers, engage fans and drive continued streaming engagement.

  • Cultivate positive relationships with appropriate agencies, companies and other relevant global stakeholders.

  • Have a strong POV along with a clear, concise ability to provide direction to internal and external partners.

  • Be an effective problem-solver and strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate complex strategy and messaging goals into compelling marketing that breaks through.

A day in the life

  • Lead the execution of marketing campaign development on strategy and on time

  • Elevate creative output of internal resources as well agency partners to ensure that marketing plans meet a high standard of creativity, innovation and brand association.

  • Manage blockers or obstacles in the campaign development process with confidence and clear communication.

  • Facilitate milestone meetings.

  • Promote collaboration with internal stakeholders and foster positive agency relationships to achieve high-level outcomes.

  • Proactively work to see around corners and actively seek clarification when there is ambiguity.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience in marketing or marketing research

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Understanding of brand marketing principles and customer engagement tactics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation

  • Experience executing scaled marketing campaigns through email or social media

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience developing effective marketing briefs that guide cross functional (creative, PR, social, media, etc.) workstreams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
