Job Title: Spotter & Laborer

Job Description

  • Safety Monitoring: Ensure the safety of workers and equipment by identifying and communicating potential hazards.

  • Directing Movements: Guide the movement of vehicles and heavy machinery to prevent accidents, especially in tight or hazardous areas.

  • Communication: Maintain constant visual and verbal contact with equipment operators and other workers to coordinate safe operations.

  • Hazard Identification: Quickly identify and report any unsafe conditions or behaviors to supervisors.

  • Safety Protocols: Enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations, stopping work if necessary to address hazards.

  • Equipment Checks: Perform safety checks on equipment and report any issues to the maintenance team.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in spotting, flagging, or a similar role is often preferred.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in the oil and gas industry.

  • Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work under pressure, and keen attention to detail.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Licenses: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
