The QC Electronics Inspector position is a key role that examine electronics products, materials, assemblies for defects or deviations from specifications.

2. Responsibilities and Duties.

· Checks fabricated electronics parts such as PCB printed circuit boards to assure they meet industry and customer standards, regulatory and specifications.

· Check and ensure you and production teams follow all procedures.

· Focus on using end product testing to continuous improve products and processes to reduce rejects, failures, returns, and waste.

· Conduct tests, analyzing measurements, and overseeing production processes.

· Support all audits and provide follow up as needed.

· Be flexible to support any type of electronics or electro-mechanical assemblies in a fast paced custom & contract manufacturing environment

3. Qualifications and Skills

· Experience with PCB printed circuit boards, SMT surface mount technology, wiring, assembly, and testing of boards alone or in devices are helpful.

· Familiarity with all types of electronics components found on boards

· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Logic and keen attention to detail combined with technical ability, .

· Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications

· Good understanding of quality statistics, key metrics and use of data to improve quality.

· Be detail oriented as needed but strategic for process improvement.

· Be a team player that can spots issues but work with teams towards constructive feedback and problem resolution.

· Good interpersonal skills

5. Working Conditions.

Fast paced, great variety of work with constant deadlines. Industrial environment with occasional dust, noise, etc. with protective equipment needed occasionally. Job may require lifting up to 50 Lbs. Must have reliable transportation. Be willing and able to work overtime up to 15%. Able to work in an environment not air conditioned in summers.
