The General Powder Coat Manager directs a staff of 10-15 people in a paint and powder coat shop setting. This also includes all responsibilities of maintaining the facility its equipment, and incoming orders alongside, reporting to an off-site President. Must have broad business skills and manufacturing experience relative to powder coating. We are seeking a self-motivated professional that is willing to grow with our company. This position is a fast-paced high-volume job with tremendous responsibility and constant deadlines. Must be able to work at high speed and adjust priorities quickly for yourself and the organization.

Responsibilities

· Must be have management and leadership with proven experience with results.

· Professional customer skills and good judgment.

· Must have prior experience dealing directly with customers preferably in a manufacturing environment, including customer de-escalation.

· Materials management, planning and procurement.

· Manage and control purchase cycles for the powder coating facility.

· Manage facility maintenance, utilities and security.

· Process purchase orders.

· Manage and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.

· Ability to make meaningful and impactful decisions without instruction.

· Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

· Must have experience managing a paint/ powder coating assembly line.

· Must be experienced in Microsoft office suites.

· Must be experienced with ERP software.

· Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff.

· Creating and implementing strategies for business growth.

· Hiring new staff and developing staff internally.

· Improving internal processes for better productivity

· Managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of the facility

*Working Conditions - *Faced paced, great variety of work with constant deadlines. Office environment in industrial complex. Must have reliable transportation. Be willing and able to work overtime up to 15%. Able to work in an environment not air conditioned in summers.
