Basic Job Functions:

Seeking a creative, forward-thinking, process-minded effective communicator to join our team. The EHS Supervisor will include but are not limited to:

  • The EHS Supervisor will lead and coordinate the Environmental, Health and Safety programs for NTSpa.

  • This includes taking a lead role in plant-wide culture building, environmental and safety management, training, audits and community outreach.

  • This position is responsible for interacting with all teammates to ensure understanding of and compliance with federal, state and local environmental and safety regulations.

  • This position develops and provides applicable training to ensure compliance with key regulatory requirements, participates in corporate environmental and safety initiatives and is responsible for water treatment operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High school diploma/GED

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in a Safety and/or Environmental position

  • Must have at least 2 years of operations experience

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills

  • Commitment to safety, actively involved in their divisions safety initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in safety or environment

  • Environmental or occupational safety experience in an industrial setting

  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment operations

  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, including industrial hygiene and testing

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

  • Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
