Precise Systems, Inc. Senior Logistician in Crane, Indiana

We are currently seeking a Senior Logistician to provide support for our customer in Crane, IN. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as, possess the following education and experience.

Duties:

  • Support Depot Standup Task Leads for Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures (IDECM)/ALQ-214 and Next Generation Jammer Mid Band (NGJMB)/ALQ-249 providing product support and logistics expertise for the acquisition/standup and sustainment of organic depot repair capability utilizing specialized test equipment.

  • Provide necessary logistics/product support updates for ALQ-214 Prime Mission Equipment (PME) to enable transition from O-OEM to O-D maintenance concept including performance of Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), maintenance plan updates/SM&R code changes, and provisioning data updates/development as required by Program Office.

  • Coordinate with Program Office and NAVSUP WSS on submittal of required ALQ-214 PME Maintenance Plan and Provisioning data.

  • Assist with contracting and procurement decisions as well as crafting and executing the support strategies related to acquiring, maintaining and upgrading Depot test equipment for ALQ-249 and ALQ-214, including General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment (GPETE) and special tooling and test equipment. Responsibilities will also involve considering the impact of these decisions/strategies on depot operations, fleet support and system sustainability.

  • Develop logistics products for specialized depot test equipment including basic maintenance planning and spares planning (including rotable calibration spares) utilizing available data.

  • Provide logistics/product support review of all technical data and CDRL deliverables from OEM.

  • Assist in development of depot test equipment hazard analysis and SOPs.

  • Perform obsolescence review and management of depot test equipment.

  • Assist with parts selection in development of depot test equipment.

  • Identify long lead parts for depot test equipment.

  • Perform reliability and maintainability analysis on depot test equipment and components.

  • Assist in development of Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD), if necessary for particular depot equipment. Coordinate with PMA(s) and SE Program Office on required SERD information.

    Required Education:

  • High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate.

    Required Experience:

  • 7+ years professional experience in integrated logistics support.

    Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher.

  • Military experience.

  • Familiar with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2D)

  • DoD logistics lifecycle experience

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
