The Account Receivable Senior Analyst role is responsible for key activities related to Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and business functions. The position requires a tactical approach to all aspects of our B2B business that requires experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of payments. In addition, accountabilities include the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and identify and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate has a continuous improvement mindset including identifying process improvements.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Daily management and understanding of payment postings within automated system with added complexity of discounts, deductions, and chargebacks
Identify and complete corrections autonomously in SAP
Reconcile accounts as related to Accounts Receivable
Create daily to monthly reporting for account reconciliations
Lead collaborative meetings with internal Supply Chain leads as well as external partners
Identify risks, devise, and summarize action plans to mitigate such risks
Initiate improvements to streamline internal processes that align with SAP S4 objectives
Education, Experience, and Skills:
College degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
At least 5 years work experience in a consumer product-related corporate environment
Firm understanding and resolution of SAP A/R postings
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
Experience with cloud-based solution for Invoice to Cash, such as High Radius
Experience with the integration of an ERP system upgrade, such as SAP S4
Ability to make sound decisions within specific situations using advanced analytical skills
Strong organizational skills as well as rapid decision-making ability
Excellent communication skills with clear and concise messaging
Ideal candidate can handle challenging situations with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism
