Analyst

Job Title: Credit and Deduction Analyst

Function: Supply Chain

Location: Cranbury, NJ office

FLSA Status: Exempt

JOB SUMMARY

This powerful role drives changes and improvements to the processes of the team and results.  Facilitate these changes by working with appropriate internal and external business partners. Work to streamline internal credit and deduction processes. Understanding when issues need to be escalated and provide appropriate summarized information to suggest/enable decisions.  

This Analyst would be responsible for

  • Participating/Leading customer specific process reviews and supply chain discussions

  • Process improvement suggestions related to deduction and credit processes

  • Developing/Maintaining reporting to drive results.

  • Manage a set of accounts related to Deductions & Credit activity.

  • Be the liaison for new brand integrations for the group

    TASKS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish a relationship and foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in all sectors of the supply chain

    Day-to-day activities

  • Research and resolve numerous types of retailer deductions

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports for Management, maintaining the A/R system by offsetting approved chargebacks and preparing adjustments for valid deductions

  • Prepare professional quality emails and spreadsheets for communicating with key customers and Sales the status of open deductions, including requests for repayment of invalid deductions

  • Analyze shipment and payment flows, in order to review and release customer’s orders on credit hold.

  • Manage customer’s credit limits and parameters, providing recommendations on next steps when financial situation changes, or based on business needs.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Education, Experience and Skills

  • BA/BS and/or minimum 1-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain preferably with credit/financial experience

  • Spanish as a 2 nd language preferred

  • Proficient skills in Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail

  • Enthusiasm to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment

  • Flexibility to work occasional extended hours as required

  • Ability to present data collected and analyzed to management

  • Dependable and reliable self-starter

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to seek effective and efficient ways to achieve results

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers

    Specific Designations, Certifications or Licenses

  • SAP experience is desired but not required

  • LSS experience/certification is desired but not required
