DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Arconic is currently in search of a Product Testing Manager to join our Kawneer Business in Cranberry Township, PA.

The Product Testing Manager manages all aspects of internal and external product testing and support, as well as oversees operations of the fabrication and testing workshop and lab, ensuring proper practices are implemented and maintained.

Responsibilities Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Work in a collaborative environment across several internal and external resources. * Oversee and manage the daily safe operations of the Cranberry Test Lab and Workshop, as well as coordinate external tests conducted at 3rd party labs. * Manage workflow, staffing, schedules, reporting and KPI's for all product testing and product fabrication projects * Manage fabrication of framing systems and components in the Workshop with traditional tooling, 3D Printing and CNC. * Manage Test Lab/Workshop workspace in Kawneer PDM system * Review and execute test plans. Ensure compliance to applicable standards * Communicate and coordinate with internal and external engineering resources * Manage resources for test unit installation, interpret test procedures, perform testing, review test outcomes, and provide test data/test reports * Maintain equipment maintenance and calibration * Responsible for the development and maintenance of appropriate department work instructions and documenting processes

Essential Knowledge and Skills: * Organizing and delegating assignment to team members and direct reports * Establish annual goals with team members, conducting performance reviews and evaluations * Conflict management and resolution skills * Professional experience in laboratory or fabrication environment * Project management experience

Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * High School Diploma * 5+ years of professional experience * Experience in fenestration industry * Ability to read and understand technical documents * Basic computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, Projects, AutoCad/Inventor software * Knowledge of standards and test methods * Knowledge and operational skills of basic power tools and hand tools including drills, saws and basic bench hand tools * Ability to lift materials up to 40 pounds shoulder height, using proper lifting techniques * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications: * IOSH Managing and Working Safely certified * Professional experience in laboratory or fabrication environment in building products * Project management experience in engineering / manufacturing environment
