About the Role: As a Poland Project Engineering Manager, you will support the AP1000 Poland Project Engineering organization is looking for a US-based Principal Licensing Engineer to support advancement of the AP1000 new build at the Lubiatowo-Kopalino site. You will engage on specific technical, and project related nuclear power plant design topics to accomplish established Polish project contracts. Efforts include planning and capture phase of future contracts working with the Energy Systems Business and the Global Engineering and Component Services (GECS) Functional Organization. You will report to the Director for New AP1000 Projects Engineering in a hybrid scenario based in Cranberry Woods, PA. We can entertain applicants able to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future. Responsibilities:

Coordinate w/ GECS functional directors and teams to implement standard work processes, procedures and automation tools on all AP1000 Poland Contracts consistent with the strategic direction established by the respective Project Partners

Provide direction to assigned lead(s) and team members for contractual scope execution

Develop and distribute engineering budgets and schedules for respective statements of work (SOW) within the Poland AP1000 contracts

Identify resource needs and develop justifications

Monitor staffing needs on assigned projects and communicate for demand signals

Cross-discipline coordination for both technical and programmatic related issues

Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex problems

Guide continuous improvement plans and project expansion opportunities

Interface w/ Polish client (PEJ), Polish regulatory body (PAA), and project designated partners to support Westinghouse partner engagement.

Aspects of future bid and proposal efforts to support future contract phases and identified additional project scopes

Support project management team members activities like definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation management

Time approval, development and performance management of direct reports

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in engineering

Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Manage complex technically oriented projects with programmatic, budgetary, and resource direction

Lead and direct medium or high complexity projects to successful completion

Lead complex team structures and relationships w/ partners in upper management positions

Analyze problems, establish facts, and make complex decisions

Familiarity w/ AP1000 project and processes

Guide and motivate teams
