Quality Engineer Location: Coventry, RI Job ID: #69803 Pay Range: $65-80 12 Month Contract The Quality Engineer participates in the development, execution, and oversite of products and processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost effective designs. This role includes developing and helping to integrate systems that support compliance and traceability requirements in accordance with AS9100. Education Requirements: -Bachelor's degree in Engineering or applicable science degree. Master's degree a plus. -Minimum 5 years experience with a Bachelor's degree or 2 years experience with a Master's degree. Desired Skills: -Quality Planning -Six Sigma -Correction Action and continuous improvement -Knowledgeable in quality software, quality systems and records. -Experience with Metrology/Calibration -Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality system -Strong understanding of how businesses work; is knowledgeable in current quality practices and makes recommendations regarding future policies and practices. -Is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
