North Star Mutual Insurance Company is looking for individuals to prepare incoming claim documents for distribution. Opening of new claims, data entry of claim information including check issuance, preparing and sending required claim forms, answering incoming telephone calls, and placing outbound calls as necessary are key functions of this exciting, fast paced role.

Individuals that can work with a high level of accuracy, interact well with others, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and have the ability to learn a variety of internal computer systems are encouraged to apply.

Related education and/or experience is preferred. Previous insurance related experience for this position would be helpful, but is not required.

This is a full-time in-office position.

While a variety of factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skillset, level of education and/or experience will be taken into consideration, it is anticipated this entry-level position will start at $19.00 per hour. This role may be eligible for a merit increase at both the 3 month and 6-month mark and then annually thereafter and is eligible for our profit-sharing bonus plan.

Starting Range $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.
