Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repair to a fleet of equipment. The equipment includes excavating and lawn care machinery such as Caterpillar models (289, 305, 308, 246, 938, 906, D6K, 323, 316, 336, 980, D3-12, 345, 924), Volvo Haul Truck, 605D Compactor, Wolfpac 3100 Roller, dump trucks, backhoes, and work trucks.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Will be working in a shop and in all types of weather conditions - hot, cold, rain, etc. This is a small family-owned business with over 30 employees. The dress code includes steel toe boots and pants. Working hours are from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, with summer hours being 6:00 am - 5:00 pm. PPE provided includes a hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, and high visibility shirt/vest.
