Job Title: Hardware Automation Test Engineer

Job Description

The Test Automation Engineer will design and deliver test systems for electronic products. The Test Engineer will identify gaps in test coverage and own the design and delivery of the hardware and software test solutions. Additional duties will include test plan definition for new products and new features, supporting the software, firmware, and hardware design teams. The Test Automation Engineer will also design and execute PCBA and electrical components with hands-on testing and rework as well as design and implement next-generation test automation hardware systems to facilitate fast and repeatable testing of products.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver test systems for electronic products.

• Identify gaps in test coverage and own the design and delivery of hardware and software test solutions.

• Define test plans for new products and new features.

• Support software, firmware, and hardware design teams.

• Design and execute PCBA and electrical components with hands-on testing and rework.

• Design and implement next-generation test automation hardware systems.

• Develop test and validation strategies.

• Manage product lifecycle of Test Automation Systems including requirements, design, build, integration, and deployment.

Work Environment

You will be supporting Unmanned Aerial Vehicles with the Test Engineering team, which currently has 65 members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00/hr.
