Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking experienced electro-mechanical assemblers for a day shift (7am-3:30pm) position at our military and defense facility in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa. This role offers competitive pay based on experience and interview performance, with rates ranging from $27 to $35 per hour. Overtime opportunities are available during the week and on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and/or electrical assemblies in a manufacturing setting.

  • Use common hand tools and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, multimeters, test boxes, and specialized test equipment.

  • Proficiently use computers for standard browsing and word processing applications.

  • Read wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions.

  • Work rapidly and adapt to changing roles and responsibilities in a high-paced, challenging work environment.

  • Effectively communicate with engineering and production teams, both verbally and in writing.

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting (aerospace, electronics, or medical industry preferred).

  • Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools.

  • Working knowledge of common electrical components.

  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions.

  • Proficiency with computer use (standard browser, word processing applications).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with mechanically assembling complex electro-mechanical assemblies, high-quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and associated components involving hand soldering and component fabrication.

  • Ability to perform validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.

  • Experience with common air-frame construction techniques such as rivets, mechanical fasteners, and nut plates.

  • Skills in electronic box assembly troubleshooting and writing detailed issue tickets for failures.

  • Experience running functional checkouts and tests, diagnosing issues discovered during these processes, and testing RF systems.

  • Experience with PCBA and troubleshooting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
