Coshocton County SSW2 Children Services Case Worker - Intake in Coshocton, Ohio

Children Services is a division of the Job and Family Services agency located in Coshocton, OH. The purpose of a child welfare worker is to ensure child safety while providing resources to the family to promote long-term success. On a day-to-day basis, the worker will experience many different activities and experience, no two days are alike. The worker completes home visits with families, has meetings with other community members, may testify in court, among many other tasks. The worker is also responsible for recording documentation, meeting the state mandates, and maintaining client files.

Skills required to be considered for a Children Services Case Manager:

  • Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Time management
  • Organization
  • Technology savvy
  • Typing
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Programs
  • High desire to grow and learn
  • Associate degree in social work or related discipline is required with a bachelor's degree being preferred. If hired with an associate degree a bachelor's degree must be obtained within 5 years from hire date.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.54 - $17.94 per hour
