The position provides advocacy during medical examinations, court trials, school meetings, and any other situation where a child victim and their non-offending caregivers may be in need of support. The work is performed under the supervision of the Child Advocacy Center Coordinator or designee. Does related work as required.Work Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week with benefitsSalary: $20.8680-$26.4136/hr. (2024 rate)$21.4940-$27.2060/hr. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:(a)Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in human services, criminal justice or a closely related field; OR(b)Possession of an Associate’s degree or higher in human services, criminal justice or a closely related field and two (2) years of work experience providing educational services and/or human services; OR(c)Possession of a high school diploma or equivalency diploma and four (4) years of work experience providing educational services and/or human services; OR(d)An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) (b) and (c) above.NOTE: Your degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education.
