Community Health Systems Financial Analyst I in CORSICANA, Texas
Job Summary and Qualifications:
Financial Analyst job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing routine and ad hoc financial analysis including analysis of costs, volume, or otherkey indicators.
Managing assigned projects and maintaining a high level of performance analysis (from allaspects of data gathering, organizing, and presenting to management).
Interfacing with various leadership regarding financial reporting and data needs and issues.
Identifying opportunities for streamlining, capturing, and automating data gathering andreporting processes.
Working with the the Leadership team to perform ongoing reviews to ensure achievementof key performance measures: Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual reports and monitoring of trends for inmanagerial accounting / decision support projects.
Responsible for having a detailed knowledge of accounting, financial reporting andsystems, corporate policies and procedures, controls, and other finance program activities
Assisting in ensuring that the hospital meets all necessary regulatory and compliance requirements and possible rotations through the business office
Contributing financial expertise in the planning of new services that generate additionalsources of profitable revenue
Participating in the hospital’s monthly operation reviews as well as participating in corporateoffice meetings as deemed necessary
Performing other related job duties as required.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
Experience:
Past experience in the field or in a related area is preferred.
