Commander, Navy Installations ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in Coronado, California

Summary You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the AIR OPERATIONS of NB CORONADO. Responsibilities You will access established files to provide information upon request from management to support programs. You will arrange travel for staff members using an automated travel system. You will maintain oversight control and exercise approval authority for the Air Ops government bankcard program. You will collect data for the site office budget, review submissions for format and compliance, and consolidate material into an annual site office budget. You will track all financial, personnel, supply, and other administrative transactions as the documentation flows through the office in both electronic form and on paper. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising manager on practical/technical aspects of office administration, to include budgeting, purchasing, supply management, personnel administration, data processing, and files management; 2) Reviewing budget submissions for proper format and compliance with program budget requirements; 3) Developing methods for automating various administrative reports containing data having multiple uses for other reports such as budget, travel, OPTAR obligations, training, and staffing; 4) Maintaining reporting systems for supply inventory and minor/plant property inventory; 5) Originating/reviewing information for travel order request for military and civilian personnel, ensuring accuracy/completeness of information.
