Polaris Industries Inventory Control Clerk in Corona, California

Executes assigned warehouse duties accurately and efficiently to ensure achievement of corporate and customer objectives. This position works cross departmentally and with minimal daily oversight. Performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to inventory accuracy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receives incoming product as assigned rapidly, efficiently, and accurately. This can include loading, unloading, counting, verifying, putting away product that has been received and collecting data.

  • Stores product in accordance with established warehouse procedures while maintaining inventory accuracy.

  • Makes recommendations regarding proper storage to improve workflow efficiency.

  • Accurately completes paperwork as required.

  • Performs cycle counts to reconcile inventory & locations against computer files.

  • Investigates inventory discrepancies and advises on the most probable cause of errors.

  • Inspects and processes customer returns in a timely manner.

  • Follows company safety protocol and procedures at all times; such as wearing proper PPE, reporting safety incidents and accidents, etc.

  • Maintains clean, safe working environment and ensures warehouse is kept in good order.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years inventory experience is a plus

  • Problem solving, analysis and basic math skills

  • Effective and efficient communication skills required for stakeholder alignment.

  • Ability to count accurately

  • Strong computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications a plus

  • Ability to operate electric stand-up forklift and electric stand-up reach forklift

  • Results driven and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

  • Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.

  • Frequent heavy and demanding physical labor.

  • Must be able to perform constant repetitive motion.

  • Must be able to stand 8 hours a day.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • A large percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures range from warm to cool and noise level can be moderate to high.

The pay range for California is $17.93 per hour to $23.45 per hour. Individual pay within the range is determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.

Base Pay Range:

$17.93 - $23.45
