The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation for this role is $17.70 - $29.52 per hour to start. Benefits for this role include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance. Main Ingredients of the Job!

As a US FOODS ® Driver Check-In Clerk , you will receive and verify that all driver-returned products and invoices are processed accurately with correct accounting codes for the division P&L.

  • Verify returned product for accurate reason codes (mispicks, driver shorts, refusals) to insure account reports reflect accurate data.

  • Verify returned product is within temperature guidelines to maintain product integrity.

  • Main duty will be returning cases back to stock, RF Scanning and computer work, issuing Customer credits.

  • Compile Xata and Kronos reports to verify accurate time and attendance reporting.

  • Process driver collections for accuracy in collection of money.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10am - 6:30pm or until job is complete.

What you bring to the table:

Education/Training

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Related Experience

  • Familiarity with warehouse & delivery procedures preferred.

  • Some Inventory Control /Finance experience background preferred.

  • Motorized pallet jack experience preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, basic computer skills.

  • Must be able to resolve routine problems of limited scope.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent, sitting, standing and walking, occasional lift up to 90 pounds, job requires handling cases in low to the ground and high-level slots

  • Must be able to operate a computer and perform filing.

  • Be able to work in different Temperature areas ranging from -10 +95 degrees

  • Work some holidays
