Description

We are looking for a dedicated Accountant in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be tasked with managing cash flow, maintaining accurate financial records, and resolving discrepancies with customers and vendors. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are keen on maintaining financial accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage daily, weekly, and monthly cash transactions and reporting.

• Prepare and maintain a rolling cash forecast on a weekly basis.

• Regular communication with banks for routine queries and issue management.

• Perform account analyses and bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Conduct monthly financial close and reporting procedures.

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies with customers and vendors.

• Assist in annual internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the financial operations of the business.

Requirements • Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor management.

• Skilled in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) functions such as billing, collections, and revenue recognition.

• Solid experience in performing Bank Reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data and adherence to internal controls.

• Strong understanding of General Ledger management, including the ability to post and review entries, and maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

• Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries in accordance with accounting standards and business requirements.

• Experienced in executing Month End Close procedures, including account reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
