Engineering Administrative Assistant Objective

A detail-focused administrative professional is needed in our Coraopolis, PA office to provide essential clerical support for engineering operations. This position will play a vital role in our established civil engineering and surveying firm of 180 professionals by managing documentation workflows and supporting technical staff.

Responsibilities

  • Compose and edit professional correspondence

  • Support technical documentation including:

  • Grant applications and permit filings

  • Project site documentation

  • Bid analysis reports

  • Utility coordination letters

  • Pre-construction paperwork

  • Equipment and material submittals

  • Maintain organized electronic filing systems on company networks Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail

  • Proficiency in PDF management software

  • Strong competency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

  • Experience navigating shared network drives and file structures

  • Familiarity with cloud file sharing platforms

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Preferred: Knowledge of construction contract administration

  • Preferred: Minimum 1 year experience in engineering, consulting, or technical environment
