You lead new business opportunities in right store opportunities in white space retail environments. You use your deep understanding of our categories and brands to sell to new customers and to expand current customers’ portfolios. In this role, you develop promotional pricing structures to fit with customer needs.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Develop and successfully implement the commercial plan strengthening and expanding Mondelēz International’s position with an assigned customer by preparing, negotiating and executing the business plans

  • Coordinate between the customer and Mondelēz International internal functions

  • Maintain and develop strategic growth plans for customers with a focus on portfolio management, listings, distribution and effective promotion and visibility

  • Build and develop strong category partnerships

  • Manage pricing within the Gross to Net Framework, Assortment management, Forecast accuracy in conjunction with supply chain function

  • Together with cross functional colleagues evaluate, plan & execute appropriate promotional and in store visibility

  • Monitor, analyze and report on market developments and competitor developments

What you need to know about this position:

Reporting to the Director of Export Sales, the Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic sales plans and supportive trade & marketing activities in the assigned markets. The BDM is accountable for delivering revenue targets, distribution objectives, developing customer relations, and for planning, implementing, tracking and evaluating the distributors’ KPI’s.

Requirements

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry with emphasis in sales, marketing, trade marketing and logistics

  • Minimum 3 years managerial experience with Distributor business model and retail channels

  • Solid knowledge of MDLZ snacking brands and strong understanding of MDLZ organizational structure

  • Complete understanding of Sales and Marketing principles and concepts

  • Good communicational skills, speak, read and write English fluently

Travel requirements:

  • Domestic & International travel required 20%
