IBM Brand Sales Specialist - Envizi ESG Solutions in Coppell, Texas

Introduction

client engagements throughout the critically important phases of the client lifecycle,

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • The Sustainability Software Business Unit is currently seeking qualified applicants for the Brand Sales SME Role for our Envizi ESG solutions and Asset Management.

  • This role is responsible for owning the brand's sales success from the Above Market coverage which will include support to all 'in markets' and all regions of North and South America, but will have priority focus on US Financial Services, US Public, US Federal and Latin America.

  • To successfully accomplish this, the ideal candidate will be the subject matter expert in key deals as well as ensure we build the right plans to exceed our budget.

  • This position includes sales strategy and support throughout various stages of the sales cycle and assists sellers with progressing and closing opportunities.

  • The Brand Sales SME is known as the solution expert and should demonstrate an understanding of market trends, competition and relevant use cases.

  • This candidate will work with the assigned markets and lead account planning sessions with IBM and our Ecosystem.

  • The SME will work with market leaders to roll out sales campaigns, reference case studies and define brand priorities.

  • This individual will help new sellers build their ESG portfolio and asset management sales and technical skills.

  • This role engages often with Sales Managers, Product Management, Marketing and our Partner Ecosystem.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 8 - 10 years of related experience

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how to lead complex deals

  • History of exceeding sales targets

  • Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills

  • Effective critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Experience with Financial and Solution Selling Methodology

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years in the ESG software space; knowledge of IBM Asset Management (Maximo) is a strong plus

  • Strong computer skills such as MS Office and Salesforce

  • Understanding with hybrid cloud

  • Understanding with Generative AI

  • Use of CRM reports and dashboards to visualize data

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.

This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you. We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable law.
