Supply Chain Engineers at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products and services for commercial and residential use.

There are a variety of concepts throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as:

  • Global supply chain design, management, and optimization for raw materials and finished goods
  • Capacity planning and global process improvement Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Demand forecasting and optimization of inventory/warehouse utilization Material Requirements Planning
  • Risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Statistical analysis to support data-driven decision making
  • Supplier relationship/quality management and product cost analysis Responsibilities

  • Ownership of supply chains for new product introduction or existing product delivery, including materials procurement and manufacturing logistics

  • Frequent collaboration with Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales to develop business plans/forecasting
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary reviews focusing on supply chain design, facility transfer readiness, etc.
  • Coordinate with global manufacturing facilities and provide logistics support for high-volume production Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, or related Engineering Discipline

  • Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
  • 0-3 years experience in a related field
