Travel and Card Services Analyst

Position Summary

The Fiscal Support Analyst is responsible for performing a wide variety of fiscal related tasks that are standard or regular support duties within an assigned department or program and for researching financial data and preparing reports. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.\ Apply at jobs.uca.edu.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Research and audits travel expenses on university sponsored travel cards and personal funds for compliance with state and university regulations. Processes and submits payment requests to Accounts Payable for employee reimbursements. Analyze, reconcile, and submit credit card transaction data monthly for payment and reconciliation. Maintains accurate records of employee documentation including card applications, purchase orders, travel advance requests, employee receipts, and TR-1s. Provides onboarding and support to others working within University sponsored systems including Banner 9, Bank of America Works, and Bank of America Global Card Access. Reviews and processes financial documents such as purchase orders and purchase order change orders in an accurate and timely manner. Serves as the main point of contact for various athletic teams for travel reimbursement, requests, or card issues. Assists supervisor in University training for travel and credit card procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of accounting principals and database management. Knowledge of software applications. Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies of assigned section. Knowledge of customer service techniques. Ability to comprehend and assimilate technical and business related documents. Ability to apply policies and procedures and other applicable regulations associated with assigned department or program. Ability to conduct research, perform quantitative quality assurance reviews, and prepare reports.
