Job Summary/Purpose:

Performs a wide variety of data analyses under general supervision of senior analysts and managers. Including communicating budget, O&M and Capital; requesting purchase and contract orders, payment processing including tracking of purchasing card. General Office Duties as requested. Ability to work independently and with others. Ability to work on multiple assignments with minimal supervision. Flexible and willing to adjust to changing priorities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Research assigned portions of a project, documents source(s) and works with relevant stakeholders inside and outside of department to ensure relevancy.

  • Recognizes data inconsistencies and irregularities and reports issues to senior analysts or managers.

  • Supports the review of functions and structures of business area to avoid overlap and duplication.

  • Documents analyses using a consistent methodology and nomenclature to ensure that analyses are preserved for future use.

  • Performs quality control analysis to ensure accuracy and rationale.

  • Works within the scope and framework of larger projects defined by senior analysts or managers.

  • Maintain and track Capital and O&M Spend; including working with vendors to obtain quotes, place orders and track to completion. Tracking regional spend for equipment replacements through the annual Telecom capital program. Updating spreadsheet monthly. Working with Capital Project Management team in monthly conference calls.

  • Tracking O&M actuals and forecasting future O&M spending for Regional Telecommunications group. Participating in monthly PE conference calls regarding this activity.

  • Provide monthly reports for all Departments & Regions for tracking O&M and Capital Budget; Overtime Reports for all Telecom Regions and Hourly Reports as requested.

  • Submit requests for contracts/purchase orders as needed (O&M and Capital). This includes equipment for any purchases needed to fulfill customers request for Motorola radios and other equipment.

  • Support the IT Transport department by completing contract requests for Blanket Contract orders. This includes inputting Contract Requisitions, merging contracts and sending for customer and internal signatures. Returning executed blanket contracts to customer for work to be performed.

  • Support Telecom’s Safety standards; participating in meetings and keeping track of Telecom employees Rubber Goods (Gloves) program.

  • Perform contract management activities per established system policies and procedures related to setting up new contracts in INDUS/Passport, maintain existing contracts including contract ceiling management, review, and processing of contractor/vendor invoices for accounts payable requirements, and or material receiving as required for purchases and administering contract releases as requested by management for approval of work.

  • Records Maintenance Coordinator for your telecom regions. Maintaining company compliance records.

  • During major storm events, support the telecom regions as jurisdictional lead for Crew Manager (resource tracking) as well as providing support for other storm related logistical requirements.

  • Process vendor payments for CPC related purchases including reconciling the CPC purchases per the system policy requirements.

  • Provide administrative support for Management team.

  • Maintain propane vendor list and tank requirements for your region, requesting propane and payments for fuel for the site generators.

  • Update code blocks on timesheets for field personnel as changes are needed; Time Administrator for all regions for assistance as needed.

  • Provide general office support including reserving meeting rooms, requesting catering, and setting up meetings, i.e. calendar invites and WebEx.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum education required of the position:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a finance or business-related field required or equivalent work experience.

  • Master's Degree preferred.

Minimum experience required of the position:

  • 2-4 years of professional experience.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position:

  • Analytical and Financial skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
