The Commercial Account Associate I is responsible for providing Business Banking and Healthcare Commercial Banking support and service to current and potential clients to meet their everyday banking needs. This includes opening of accounts and related products (outside of treasury management products), cross-selling products, and services, as well as servicing existing Woodforest National Bank’s Business Banking and Healthcare clients in a friendly, accurate, and efficient manner and in adherence to all bank policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities: · Opens and performs account maintenance on certificate of deposit, consumer and business accounts; takes the lead on CIP and EDD exceptions; Refers customers with Treasury Management related inquiries/support to the Cash Management support team. · Proactively seeks ways to develop and expand client relationships. · Cross-sells banking products and services beneficial to the client needs. · Services existing Woodforest National Bank’s Business Banking and Healthcare clients accurately, efficiently, and in adherence to bank policies and procedures. · Assists clients with account inquiries.

Competencies Required: · Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, SharePoint and Outlook). · Excellent organizational and time management skills. · Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external parties. · Strong working knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, Bank policies and procedures, and the Bank’s products and services. · Capability of strong problem-solving, decision-making, critical and strategic thinking skills, as well as strong attention to detail and concern for data accuracy. · Self-motivated, goal oriented, team player with strong interpersonal skills and sales aptitude. · Proficiency with 10-key by touch, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and SharePoint), and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications (Mozart, CashPlus, and Bancline). · Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload. · Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: · 2 years of business or commercial client service and banking experience required. · Banking experience with exposure to BSA/KYC/CIP, preferred.

Formal Education & Certification: · High School Diploma or equivalent required · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.

Work Status: · Full-Time.

Supervisory Responsibility: · None.

Travel: · 0% travel expected.

Working Conditions: · Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
