Maintenance Technician Day/Night Shift (2-2-3) $22-38/HR

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in pneumatics, hydraulics, 3-phase electrical systems, AC/DC, preventative maintenance, and wiring schematics up to 460V. The role requires a solid understanding of control panels, motors, fuses, conductors, relays, and proximity switches. This position involves performing daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, initiating equipment repairs, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily preventative equipment maintenance

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues

• Initiate and perform detailed machine maintenance

• Respond quickly and efficiently to equipment breakdowns and production requests to minimize downtime

• Maintain accurate and timely records of maintenance performed

• Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently

• Comply with all Federal, State, and local laws

• Use power and hand tools proficiently

• Complete work orders and record materials utilized on the job

• Assist with preventative maintenance as assigned

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics

• Proficiency in electrical systems, including 3-phase, AC/DC, and wiring schematics up to 460V

• Experience with control panels, motors, fuses, conductors, relays, and proximity switches

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues

• Mechanical mindset with 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and escalate when appropriate

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints

• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Dropbox

• Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic electrical knowledge

• Experience with plumbing and welding

• Proficient in the use of power and hand tools

• Ability to draft clear and detailed manufacturing procedures

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Tool Bonus ($500 per quarter) - Tool truck pulls up and they can choose that day, on the company
