Maintenance Electrician $30-37+/HR

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our main plant. This role involves working a 2-2-3 rotation shift with a priority on night shifts. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and wiring for manufacturing equipment, as well as providing preventative maintenance associated with electrical issues. Our plant produces hydro fiber and erosion control products, with another plant focused on pot and soil products.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and wiring for manufacturing equipment.

• Provide preventative maintenance to address electrical issues.

• Observe installed systems to detect hazards and determine the need for adjustments or modifications.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals to install, calibrate, and maintain electrical apparatus.

• Perform effective equipment Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).

• Use both mechanical and electrical hand tools and power tools.

• Operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, manlifts, scissor lifts, and cranes.

• Use electrical/electronic testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

• Maintain control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and control panels.

Essential Skills

• Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.

• Experience with preventive maintenance.

• Ability to read schematics and interpret complex engineering drawings.

• Knowledge and use of personal protective equipment for electrical safety.

• Experience with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $74880.00/yr.
