Position Details

• Location: 2-3 days per week of traveling for Site Visits in Pasco, Polk, Manatee, Hillsborough, and Pinellas County.

• Status: This is a full-time Hybrid position.

• Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (may vary)

• Days: Monday – Friday (no weekends)

The Site Regulations Specialist will work Hybrid. This team member must currently reside in Florida.

Responsibilities :

• The Site Regulations Specialist is responsible for supporting the Practice Operations Consultant in facilitating regulatory compliance relative to state and federal regulations for BayCare Medical Group.

• Manages CLIA/COLA/Biomedical Waste licensure and renewals and maintains current records and methods of tracking.

• Conducts on-site audits to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.

• Reports audit findings and escalates improvement opportunities.

• Participates in ongoing team member training pertaining to regulatory requirements and patient safety.

• Supports implementation of BMG Zero Harm initiatives and collaborates with BMG Quality teams to monitor process-focused actions plans to improve patient safety and quality outcomes.

• Ensures that practices have necessary resources, knowledge, education, and information to effectively do their job, and assure their practices are supporting the overall goals of BayCare Medical Group.

Minimum Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant

Education

• Required: Trade/Technical School, Medical Assistant or LPN Licensure

Experience

• Required: 5 years medical practice office in a clinical role experience.
